National Employ Older Americans Week

The week of September 18-24 is “National Employ Older Americans Week.” Led by the U.S. Department of Labor, the week aims to increase awareness of older workers and develop strategies to tap into the potential held by experienced workers. As an administrator of Delaware’s Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) in New Castle County, Delaware, Goodwill delivers job skills training and employment support services to older, low-income job seekers.
