Inspiration Awards Celebrate Individuals, Organizations, and the Power of Work
WILMINGTON, DE – Leading regional workforce development provider, Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County announces the return of its Goodwill Inspiration Awards Luncheon. For the last two years, the event – which celebrates and recognizes individuals and organizations that believe in the strength of the Power of Work has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The economic and employment outlook that we face today, as a result of the national emergency, echoes some of the same challenges our organization was established to solve for Delaware residents over 100-years ago in 1921,” shared Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County’s president and CEO, Colleen Morrone. “As we rebound from the pandemic, we are pleased to once again convene in person to acknowledge the accomplishments of individuals, and the contributions of organizations who have benefited from, and contribute to Goodwill’s nonprofit mission.”
The event will be held Friday, May 20, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., at the Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware to celebrate Goodwill’s program participants and team members, businesses, and community organizations, making a difference in the community through their inspiring stories and accomplishments.
