kion the lion king

Unbeknownst to Kion, his conversation is being overheard by a young female mandrill. Later, Ono laments having caused Makuu's float to awaken early. Timon and Pumbaa add that Christmas is about gift-giving and that a mysterious creature called Dandy Claws often leaves presents for the animals of the savanna. No sooner has he revealed this when Mtoto overhears a crocodile heading to Pride Rock, and Ono spots Makuu en route to the Summit. Together, the Night Pride and Kion enter the Tree of Life, where Janna lies in a weakened state. The Lion Guard rushes to Pride Rock, following the sounds of Tiifu and Zuri yelling for help. With Makini gone, Timon and Pumbaa attempt to direct the Lion Guard on their lines, claiming that they know best how lions act, since they raised Simba. He then warns Kion that there is no other way around the rocks and that the storm is closing in fast. While the Lion Guard journeys toward the next moja kwa moja stone, Makucha recruits Ora to join him on his quest to get revenge on the Lion Guard. One of the hares approaches Kion and informs him that the other hares are hiding in empty aardvark dens, and the team resolves to save them before they can get buried in mud. At sunset, Fuli, Makini, and Kongwe converge with the rest of the Lion Guard. Upon finding out that Makucha, Chuluun, and Ora were the intruders, Kion admits that he had failed to notice that the Lion Guard was being followed. She picks up her trail on a path through the trees, and she and Kion begin to follow it through the woods. Rani wonders if the Roar is necessary and considers if the Roar should be returned to the Tree of Life. As the hunt persists, Kion pauses and remarks that he feels like something is watching them from the bushes. Meanwhile, Bunga shows Beshte the paintings that had supposedly predicted the future, and the two spot another painting of Kion in a tree. Ono investigates the dried-up falls and informs Kion that a rock slide has caused a blockage downriver. After relating their stories to each other, they realize that Fuli may just want to be left alone, and they resolve to find her and promise to let her be herself from now on. Beshte rushes down and lifts the rock off the gazelle's hoof, but the moment Bunga pulls him free, they both go tumbling over the edge of a steep drop. Yuki, the matriarch, explains that they want a hot spring with plenty of available food and no trees for large birds to nest in. While the other Lion Guard members gather around the show, Ono patrols from the air and catches two baboons from the troop, Mwevi and Mwizi, stealing food from a tree while Uroho continues to run the show. He calls out to Mwenzi, but the bird does not reply. Both Pride Landers deny having seen Zazu since their earlier entanglement, and Kion orders his team to track Zazu through other methods. Just then, Kion gets the idea to track down Muhangus and ask him for directions. Down below, Beshte starts to clear a path through the fallen rocks. No sooner have they done this when Mbeya the rhinoceros cries out for help, and the Lion Guard rushes to save him. Without asking for an explanation, Kion orders Makuu to back off. He then points out that all the Pride Landers had stood together in fighting off the jackals, just as the spirit of Kupatana encourages. Seeing this inspires Kion to properly follow Nirmala's advice. No sooner has she disappeared when the team overhears fearful cries. They witness Kion practicing his Roar. After rescuing the aardwolves, Kion pins Reirei the jackal to the cave floor. With the Pride Lands saved, the Lion Guard relaxes at a new water hole created by the floodwaters, where Kion rests beside Fuli. The team asks him why he had left his territory again, and an ashamed Badili confesses that Mapigano had driven him out again. This strong sense of responsibility is in part why Kion is so level-headed and less likely to jump into dangerous situations than his best friend, Bunga. Her unexpected appearance startles the hyenas, who fall into the river and careen over the edge of Hakuna Matata Falls. The force of Makucha's hit causes the rocks to break apart, and the river swells once more, filling Dhahabu's watering hole. Ono and the mother hammerkop flank the hawk from the front and the back, forcing her to drop the baby. However, Kion and the others start to get annoyed when Makini's memories don't match their surroundings. However, once the team reaches the shore, Kion stops roaring, and the waves crash in on the Komodo dragons. Impatient, Kion decides to use the Roar of the Elders on the mountain in order to blow a hole through it. Anga spots a patch of Tuliza past a nearby sea. An awestruck Kion asks Zira how she had known what his roar could do, but Zira comments that she would rather speak of the roar without Jasiri listening. Together, Anga and Ono depart to ask for Hadithi for help. Kion competes against Vitani in the Battle of the Lion Guards. The cubs rush into the thorns and each try to take different paths, but both find themselves in too great of pain to continue. As they speak, the Lion Guard notices that Makuu is missing from the event, and Mtoto runs up with news that Makuu is speaking angrily near the watering hole. Ono does as he is asked, and Fuli suggests tracing Beshte's scent. Reluctantly, Janja gives up the fight. Ono suggests that they clear the watering holes first, and the Lion Guard sets off to avert the danger. With Janja gone, the Lion Guard continues to patrol the Pride Lands for blocked trails. Bunga explains that word has been spreading that he is a fantastic babysitter. Though the team looks to Kion for direction, he asks Fuli for help, as he is not thinking clearly. Occupation The mark on his left shoulder was going to be a paw print, but a sizzle reel showed that this was swapped out for the current lion head. The ice begins to crack beneath their weight, and the team scrambles to reach solid ground. A shocked Kion asks if the porcupines had been hiding from the Zimwi, and the rest of the team pieces together that Mtoto and his friends had seen the two porcupines huddling together and mistaken them for the Zimwi. Kion stops Roaring, and the rocks fall, effectively blocking the dam. The hyenas protest, reminding Kion that they will just be kicked out again, and the other members of the Lion Guard point out that Cheezi and Chungu are too dumb to cause much trouble. Eventually, the Lion Guard and the Night Pride succeed in driving off the army, though Rani criticizes Kion for not following her lead. Since then, Kion and his friends focuses on fighting against Scar's army. No sooner have they started to cross the Flood Plains when Ono arrives, forbidding the herd to enter the hippo lanes. After the gorillas vow to leave the pangolins alone, Kion lets them up and demands to know who they are. Bunga tackles Kion in order to "save" him from falling. Kion and the Lion Guard manages to calm the antelope, but Makuu and his float emerge from down below and explain that crocodiles cannot go back into hibernation after being woken up. In answer, two of Makuu's cronies knock Nala into the water and carry her into the midst of the float, prompting Kion to nearly use the Roar in his fury. Kion is the first leader of the Lion Guard who creates a new position: the smartest.
