DONATE.
SHOP. CREATE JOBS.
Goodwill’s mission – to improve the quality of life for people with barriers to self-sufficiency through the Power of Work – starts with donations from generous donors like YOU! When you donate your gently-used items to Goodwill, they are sold in our retail stores and online. With the money raised from these sales, we are able to fulfill our nonprofit mission. Your donations also help to reduce waste by giving old items a new life!

Goodwill Donation Valuation Guide
How much can you deduct for the gently used goods you donate to Goodwill? The IRS allows for deductions of fair market value for gently-used items in good condition or better. When determining “fair market value”, the quality of the item when new and its age must be considered. Our donation valuation guide displays prices ranging from good to like-new for commonly donated items.
To determine the fair market value of an item not on our valuation guide, estimate 30% of the item’s original price.

WORK A DAY, EARN A PAY
Celebrate Success
Work A Day, Earn A Pay (WADEAP) is a program initiated by Governor Carney, funded by the Department Of Transportation and administered by Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County as part of “Keep DE Litter Free”. WADEAP is a 6-8 month opportunity where individuals with barriers to success related to justice involvement can gain positive work experience as well as participate in job skills training and activities. The end goal is a permanent job placement in a position with a livable wage.
Ready to get to work? The only requirement is that you are ready, willing, and able to work for your pay!

ELIGIBILITY
This is a re-entry program that is primarily designed to help justice-involved individuals re-enter the workforce. On a case-by-case basis, however, WADEAP also accepts applicants who are facing other barriers to re-entry such as returning from recovery centers.
